Take a dress dummy or decoration of a witch, place a secret mark somewhere on the witch and then cover up. Have guests randomly place a pin on the which, then later in the party see who’s pin was closest to the secret mark.

You don’t need alcohol to have fun…but having good food ideas goes a long way to having a successful party….tinting Karo corn syrup with red food coloring and dripping it around glasses makes a great bloody effect (make sure it dries first before serving beverage in it).

Decorations help create the atmosphere….can get a tree branch and bring it in to decorate with lights and hang bats or even assorted homemade “trick or treat” bags to give to guests as gifts…fill with candy and fun, crazy stuff as much as your budget allows. Make graves and toss leaves on them, headstones and dog chew bones sticking out.

Check websites for people who have already compiled a Halloween playlist–you’ll probably find some great music to play at your party (just google your question for what you’re looking for).

Easy treats>> large marshmallows, craisins, and red gel icing in tubes= push craisin into marshmallow and drizzle gel icing around it to make it look like Bloody Eyeballs.
Also: Make Spiders to eat: get some Chinese crunchy noodles and melt some chocolate chips and coat noodles. Remove with a fork in a bunch for easier handling and drain on wax paper. Put 2 mini red m&m’s as eyes. (Melt choc at 50% power for 40 sec, then check. If choc starts to harden while working with it, heat it again…noodles need to be really coated to stick together in a “spidery clump”).

Supplies: 3 small pumpkins, 30 empty 2 liter clear soda bottles, 1 can white spray paint, 1 permanent black marker, a bag of gravel or pebbles{ placed in bottom of bottles}

Ask friends to save empty, clean 2 liter soda bottles for your party. Give them a date of at least 1 week before your party to turn in the bottles.

Spray paint the soda bottles white and draw eyes and mouths on the bottles once dried. Add about a cup of sand or pebbles in each bottle so they will stand without falling over.

Divide into of 3-8 each… line up and take turn at bowling over the Ghosts

The small pumpkins are the bowling balls== Whoever gets a strike receives another attempt to bowl a strike. If they did bowl another strike they receive a prize.
